Directions
  • Prepare Beef

    Cut beef into large chunks. Season with salt and pepper. Brown in batches in a Dutch oven.

  • Sauté Vegetables

    In the same pot, cook bacon until crispy. Add pearl onions and mushrooms

  • cook until browned.

  • Simmer Stew

    Return beef to pot. Add wine, tomato paste, and herbs. Cover and simmer on low heat for 2.5 hours until beef is tender.
