    Saffron
Directions
  • Prepare Rice

    Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Parboil with whole spices until 70% cooked. Drain.

  • Layer Biryani

    In a heavy pot, layer partially cooked rice with sautéed vegetables, fried onions, mint, and cilantro.

  • Dum Cook

    Drizzle with saffron milk, seal pot with dough or foil, and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
